Day 22: Have you ever stricken someone off your to-crochet-for list because they didn’t appreciate/take care of your last crochet gift to them?
Not for that reason, no. I’ve taken my sister-in-law on and off of the list depending on her behavior to me and her family…but not because she’s wrecked anything.

Working third shift is a pain in the bum sometimes. I get home at 7am and sleep until who know’s when.
This is going to take some maneuvering when school starts…my classes start at 1:30 and I definitely am still dead to the world then. Whoooo.

Do you crochet in public? Was anyone offended/incredibly happy/curious that you were doing so?
I do. Everyone that has seen me crochet wants me to make things for them…which opens a new can of worms that I have to deal with.
Nobody has been offended, they’ve asked lots and lots of questions. I like it :)

I got a nerf gun with a laser aim on it for Christmas.

What are your preferred hooks made out of?
I use the good ole aluminum hooks. I’ve used plastic ones, but I honestly prefer aluminum ones. The yarn slides better on them…

I don’t really have a least favorite pattern. Everything I’ve worked with has turned out the way I’ve wanted it to, so that’s always good :)

Do you have yarn that you love but can’t find a project for?
Not really. Most of the yarn I have is what I got from my mother, and we’re too poor right now for me to just buy yarn to have it.
I’m hoping after I start my job I’ll be able to build up kind of a surplus so I have choices :)

I’ve got a 3 drawer rubbermaid “dresser” currently. I’ve been looking at getting nice covered baskets to put on a bookshelf we have just because it’ll be much more organized then than it is now, but we don’t have the money for that yet.

Day 8: What is your most challenging project? The afghan I’m making for my brother. It started as a ripple afghan, and then I messed it up a million times so I changed it to a giant granny square. It’s taking a long time to finish it…it’s gotta be done by Dec 25.
